While accelerating the development of the lithium industry, it will also promote high-quality development of new batteries and key material industries such as sodium electricity, hydrogen fuel cells, liquid flow batteries and supercapacitors, the ministry said. At the same time, in terms of technological innovation, we will accelerate the integration and innovation of new batteries with solar photovoltaic, key information technology and key terminal applications, and promote the development of new batteries towards the trend of high safety, high energy density, long life and low cost. 

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will also release a new version of the Comprehensive Standardized Technology System for lithium-ion batteries to speed up the construction of a management system for tracing the source of lithium batteries throughout their life cycle and promote the level of recycling in the industry.
