What are the common sense for daily maintenance of Lithium Batteries?
2023-12-20
① Do not mix lithium-ion batteries with metal objects to prevent metal objects from touching the positive and negative electrodes of the lithium-ion battery, causing a short circuit, damaging the lithium-ion battery or even causing danger.
② Master the correct charging method: first connect the charger to the battery pack, and then connect the charger power plug to the 220V AC power supply. Following this connection sequence can prevent sparks from occurring when plugging and unplugging the charging plug. The charger displays a red indicator light when the power is turned on.
③Lithium-ion batteries can enter a dormant state under refrigerated conditions. However, after using a lithium-ion bicycle under high temperature conditions, the removed battery pack cannot be placed in the freezer immediately. Instead, it should be placed in a cool place to slowly cool down the lithium-ion battery.
④In the daily use of lithium-ion batteries, leave them aside for about half an hour after charging, and wait for the battery performance to stabilize before use. Give the lithium-ion battery a resting period, otherwise it may affect the normal performance of the battery.
⑤When you find that the lithium-ion battery is discolored, deformed or different from usual, please stop using the lithium-ion battery. During actual charging, stop charging when the charging work cannot be completed beyond the specified charging time, otherwise it will cause leakage, heat and damage of the lithium-ion battery.
⑥Prevent the use of lithium-ion batteries that become hot after being fully charged. When a battery is newly charged, the temperature can be very high. If used immediately, the internal temperature of the electronic components will increase, which may have a negative impact on the electronic components of the device.
